For the love of horses

Cierra. 16. Equestrian. In love with the sport.

Take the boy, don't touch my horse.

I do not own any photos unless stated so.

The Horse

Charlie is a dark bay tb. He never raced, well, he did, but he was extremely awful at it, haha, so now he’s a hunter. He’s owned by a lady named Sandy, who doesn’t get out much to ride him, about once a week. I ride him four-six times a week, and he loves it. He’s very green, but he tries so hard for me. he is unfortunately in the school, but only one lady rides him about once every other week…he came from a horrible place where the pastures had mud that went up to his knees and he was EXTREMELY skinny…he put on 200 lbs when he came to us, but still needs more. He has issues with weight, and gets fed second-cut hay, only the best quality, Ten-Maker Plus, with biotic 8 and kelp which are extremely good for his digestive system and keeping him healthy. He sees a chiropracter to re-align all his nerves and muscles so his back doesn’t get sore, and he has a custom Antares saddle :3 (he’s definatley not spoiled at all)..He loves Barnies or Stud Muffins, and he loves cuddling. I read my books in his stall and he lays down beside me and cuddles. I couldn’t have asked for a better horse in the world, he may not be the fanciest, or the fastest, the smartest or the fittest, but he’s mine, and he’s loving, forgiving, sweet, and tries his best.

P.S.- He loves galloping bare back across his field.

P.P.S.-He has to wear back boots, front boots and bell boots all the time, even for turnout.
